CompTIA A+ is the industry standard certification for launching a career in IT support.
This program equips participants with foundational knowledge in:

Hardware installation and troubleshooting

Networking fundamentals

Operating systems (Windows, macOS, mobile)

Cybersecurity basics

Technical support and problem-solving
Graduates are prepared for roles such as:

Help Desk Technician

IT Support Specialist

Field Technician

What You’ll Receive
Participants accepted into the program will receive:

In-person evening instruction
(Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays | 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)

A laptop to support coursework
-
Preparation for CompTIA A+ Core 1 & Core 2 exams
-
$100 stipend upon passing both certification exams
-
Job readiness workshops (resume, interview prep, workplace skills)

Employment placement support
This is a structured, one-year commitment designed to help you build a long-term IT career.

Applicants must:

Be a Massachusetts resident

Be unemployed or underemployed

Be authorized to work in the United States
-
Commit to the full duration of the program
